Permanent Cosmetics, also known as Permanent Makeup, Cosmetic Tattooing and Micropigmentation, is a non-surgical procedure that is both safe and effective. A topical anesthetic is applied, and most clients agree the procedure is far more comfortable than they imagined. Services range from subtle eyeliner to natural-looking eyebrows to stunning lip color.

Meet Denise George — Professional Permanent Makeup Artist

Denise George, owner of Forever Ink in Akron, OH, has extensive experience in the beauty and permanent cosmetic makeup industry. After serving in the United States Air Force, Denise fulfilled a dream of living in Japan, where she first noticed how many women wore permanent makeup and decided to pursue a career in the industry. She began with conventional makeup artistry, learning color theory and application, and took her first permanent makeup class in 2000. She has studied extensively with industry pioneer Susan Church in Costa Mesa, CA, and has served as an Assistant Instructor alongside her. Denise is a member in good standing of the League of Permanent Cosmetic Providers (LPCP), and works with local plastic surgeons and the local chapter of the Cancer Society providing paramedical permanent makeup. She has owned her own salon and training facility since 2000 and holds more than 15 awards and certifications.
